| In addition to dry
paint booth filter systems, we provide waterfall curtains to capture
paint overspray. Water wash scrubber systems eliminate the need
for disposal of the dry filters and potentially reduce the weight
and volume of waste. To maintain clean water, the water may be either
changed or cleaned.
To clean the water, a chemical is first added to encourage paint
separation. A centrifuge-type cyclone or filter is used to separate
the paint from the water so that it can be dried for disposal. The
process can be automated to eliminate paint booth downtime to change
filters.
There can be significant differences in operational costs between
the various types of filtering systems. Factors that should be evaluated
in selecting a filtering system include:
• Paint type / consistency
• Paint volume
• Local environmental regulations
• Labor rates
• Disposal costs
We provide a variety of types of wet booths including:
• Back section water wash spray booth
• In-floor particulate scrubber
We can help you determine the optimum type of
filtering for your paint system.
