Workpieces are conveyed or manually moved to the paint booth and electrostatically coated with a liquid or powder mixture via a spray nozzle using a mechanical or compressed air spraying method. The charged powdered particles or atomized liquid paint are projected toward the oppositely-charged workpiece and then accelerated toward the workpiece by the powerful electrostatic charge.
